Mary Rafferty and Rob Hughes were recently appointed by Saban Brands to vice president of toys and hard lines and marketing director, respectively.

Rafferty, as vice president of toys and hard lines, will oversee toy licensing, product development and retail for Saban's properties, including Paul Frank and Power Rangers. She has previously worked at Spin Master, Mattel and Disney, as well as having owned her own licensing business, which managed Polly Pocket and YouTube sensation Fred.

Meanwhile, Hughes will be in charge of managing the marketing campaigns for Power Rangers, Paul Frank and future acquisitions. Prior to Saban, he was marketing manager for Disney Channel and has previously worked at Disney's ABC Cable Networks Group.

"Mary and Rob both bring a wealth of experience and talent to their respective areas of expertise," says Elie Dekel, president of Saban Brands. "Their backgrounds in toy development and brand marketing will ensure enormous success as we continue to grow the Saban Brands division, especially with the return of Power Rangers and our recent acquisition of the popular lifestyle brand Paul Frank."
