CPLG Sport has brokered new publishing agreements for the England Rugby brand as agent for the Rugby Football Union.

New partner ProgrammeMaster will publish an England Rugby yearbook, featuring comprehensive reviews of the 2011 IRB Rugby World Cup and 2012 RBS 6Nations.

ProgrammeMaster will also publish a full-color England magazine featuring all the latest news on the team. The new magazine will be published four times a year, with the first issue set to hit shelves in the coming weeks to tie in with the QBE Internationals.

“England Rugby is a massive brand and a welcome addition to our portfolio of leading sporting licenses,” says David Ellingham, chairman, ProgrammeMaster. “We expect both the yearbook and the England magazine to perform strongly at retail after extensive redesigns of both titles.”

CPLG Sport has also renewed an agreement with Haynes Publishing that will see an updated version of its Rugby Union Manual, which includes case studies and photographs of England's current players, information on new rule changes, the latest on women's rugby and a foreword by England head coach Stuart Lancaster.
