Marlene Sharp was appointed to the newly created position of director of development for Rubicon Studios, where she will be tasked with finding intellectual properties, as well as production and co-production partners for new and existing properties.

Sharp previously served as co-chief executive officer and producer at Two Twiggs & a Berry Productions. She also worked at Enemes as producer and manager of distribution and marketing, where she supported such properties as Higglytown Heroes, Z-Squad and Da Jammies. Sharp started her career as producer and director of development at Renaissance-Atlantic Films, contributing to properties such as Power Rangers, Digimon and Heavy Gear.
