U.K. animal welfare charity the RSPCA has appointed Hannah Miller to the newly created post of licensing executive. The position was created as part of an expansion of the RSPCA’s licensing team.

Miller will report to licensing manager Cathy Snow, who promoted to the role of licensing manager in April.

Miller’s role will include account administration, approvals and royalty collections. She will also be the first point of contact for licensees and general licensing enquiries.

Miller comes to the RSPCA from Access Sport, a sports development charity in east London, where she served as event manager.

“Since its launch in 2011, the enhanced and expanded RSPCA licensing campaign has involved a huge investment in licensing literature, support and promotion,” says Snow. “Hannah will play a crucial role in maintaining and further building on that success.”

Since the expanded licensing campaign was announced in 2011, it has seen the addition of many new licensees including Vogue International, WHSmith

and John Lewis. They join the RSPCA’s current partners such as Rayware, U.K. Greetings, CPDesigns and the Noel Tatt Group. The RSPCA is looking at, or has already signed, deals in apparel, giftware, housewares, stationery, publishing, pet food, wild animal food and pet accessories.
