The Royal Opera House has announced four new licensing partnerships, including Jakks Pacific.

Under the brand of The Royal Ballet, The Art File has secured the key stationery and greetings cards license and premiered its new Little Dancer Collection at the Spring Fair in Birmingham.

Jakks Pacific has signed a global deal to develop and market a line of dress-up and role-play clothing inspired by The Royal Ballet with the rights to sell the line into 60 countries worldwide.

Lifestyle clothing company Joules has been signed for a range of casual children's clothing under The Royal Ballet brand and Ancestors of Dover will develop ballet-related costume and fine jewelry.

These new partnerships complement the Royal Opera House's existing stable of licensees, which include Freddy, the official dancewear and fitness clothing suppliers to The Royal Ballet, and Oberon books. These new licenses are the first to be signed since Royal Opera House Enterprises, the commercial trading division of the Royal Opera House, was established in September 2009.
