The line, targeted to girls ages 3 to 6, will include costumes, tiaras and other accessories. The collection will launch in spring 2011.
"Our brand represents excellence in performance, style, production and costume," says Anne Buky, licensing manager of Royal Opera House Enterprises. "The detail and quality of our costumes is renowned and we are delighted to be working with a partner that can represent this quality for our youngest Royal Ballet admirers. The attention to detail and workmanship made CDI a natural choice for us to work with."
Ken Goodisson, CDI marketing manager, says: "It is without doubt that dance and ballet in particular, still forms a large part of growing up for many little girls. With the wide media attention that all forms of dance currently receive, it has never been more accessible or popular."
