Rainbow has signed five new licensing agents for Winx Club across Europe and and in Eastern markets.

New agents representing the brand include: CPLG in Germany and Benelux; RBW in Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand; Tuesday (Bates Group) in Indonesia; License2Brand in Greece and FWD Licensing in U.A.E., Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Oman, Saudi-Arabia, Tunisia and Morocco.

“Winx Club continues to be an ever-growing brand for us, and with the imminent launch of season five it is an exciting time to be going global with new agents,” says Bettina Koeckler, senior vice president and general manager global consumer products, Rainbow. “We look forward to working with these local licensees to take Winx Club to even more consumers worldwide.”

The cornerstone of the Winx Club licensing program, the Winx Club dolls, are produced for the worldwide market by Witty Toys (part of Rainbow Group) except in North America, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. where Jakks Pacific is the master toy licensee.

More than 10 new doll collections were released this year in the ramp up to season five of the series, which is currently in co-production with Nickelodeon.

Each Winx Club doll is tied to the series with a code that allows girls to download special content related to their specific doll.
