Chapman Entertainment’s Raa Raa the Noisy Lion preschool property has found its way onto retail shelves, courtesy a new Ladybird publishing range from Penguin Children’s Media and Entertainment. The range is currently being rolled out across U.K. retail and other English language markets outside of North America.
The books feature two titles: Raa Raa Finds his Roar and Raa Raa’s Quiet Time. The range also features an activity sticker book and a little library set of six mini books. The titles are available at WHSmith, Morrisons and on Amazon.com. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Waterstones will stock the book soon.
“We all fell in love with Raa Raa the moment we saw it,” says Eric Huang, publishing director, media and entertainment, Penguin Children’s. “The brilliant character design and art direction, fantastic voiceovers and the educational tenets of the show make it the perfect addition to our Ladybird character range, which also includes books behind Peppa Pig and LEGO. We’ll be adding to the Raa Raa publishing range later this year, bringing the total number of books published to five.”
CPLG is the licensing agent for the entire Chapman portfolio.
