The Jim Henson Company has granted Lisbon, Portugal-based Atxilipu the broadcast rights to "Dinosaur Train" to air in Portugal, Portuguese-speaking African countries and East-Timor. In addition, Atxilipu has signed an agency deal for the same territories to begin a licensing program.

"Dinosaur Train" will begin airing in the territories on Dec. 18 on RTP2 (free to air), followed by Canal Panda (cable) next month. Video on-demand deals are currently in negotiations.
