Lorna Donohoe was promoted to senior vice president of global strategic marketing at Playboy Enterprises, where she will handle development and execution of marketing programs to enhance the brand's worldwide awareness.

Donohoe was the company's division vice president of retail marketing and merchandising, where she managed partnerships with major retailers and brands. Prior to joining Playboy Enterprises in 1998, she served as a corporate business coordinator for Condé Nast Publications.

"Our goal is to transform Playboy into a brand management company, and this new position will help further that critical initiative," says Alex Vaickus, Playboy Enterprises' president. "Lorna has a unique blend of global experience and creativity, which, combined with her passion for the Playboy brand, make her the ideal candidate to effectively position Playboy in the marketplace. She already has successfully developed a series of collaborative events and initiatives with a range of international partners, and her new responsibilities will provide a global platform for her talents."
