“Egyxos” and “Magiki,” both brands created by DeAgostini, got their starts as flow packs and now will appear in two animated series.

“Egyxos” (26x22) is targeted to boys ages 6 to 11 and set in ancient Egypt. The series recounts the adventures of characters with magical powers fighting for control of the land.

“Magiki” (52x11), targeted to girls ages 4 to 8, is based on the stories of friendship between the various magical creatures living in the Magiki world. More than 10 million units of Magiki figurines have been sold in Southern and Eastern Europe since the 2009 launch.

The stories of Camille have already captivated children across Europe where her books have sold 2 million copies in France alone and been translated into 30 languages. The new series, “Camille” (78x7), follows Camille and her inseparable teddy bear Nounurs, teaching small children values such as friendship, loyalty and the importance of family.

Planeta Junior is also presenting another preschool series, produced by Triacom

Audiovisual, called “Lua’s World” (130x3). The series follows the growing girl Lua as she faces the trials and tribulations typical of her age. Under a new partnership between the two companies, Planeta Junior represents the brand for licensing in

Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Greece and Eastern Europe.

Finally, Planeta Junior will debut the new 3D reboot of its classic property, Vicky the Viking. After 35 years of being broadcast throughout the world, the ingenious boy

Viking will get new stories, more characters and a faster pace in the new “Vicky the Viking” series, which will be released at the end of 2013. Planeta will be selling both the new show (78x13, 3D) and the classic “Vicky the Viking” series (78x24, 2D) at MIPCOM.
