PPC Enterprises, which holds merchandise and licensing rights to the Pinky and Perky property, is taking Pinky and Perky to the U.K. stage in 2010/2011 with theater production company Fiery Light.

"The Pinky and Perky Show" is currently airing on CBBC in the U.K. It is due to air on France 3 and ABC in Australia this year, with sales also confirmed in the Nordic territories.

Fiery Light has produced shows "LazyTown Live! The Pirate Adventure," "SpongeBob SquarePants-The Sponge Who Could Fly," Roald Dahl's "The BFG" and the first live production of "Peppa Pig."

"It's fantastic to be involved with Fiery Light—it did an incredible job with LazyTown and I expect Pinky and Perky to be equally popular," says Mark Hurry, legal and commercial director at PPCE. "This is on top of the success of the TV show and a lot of Pinky and Perky licensing activity—there is a big buzz surrounding these pigs."
