The lineup was assembled by eOne’s licensing agent in the territory, License Connection, and includes The Cookie Company for apparel and nightwear; Uitgeverij Unieboek Het Spectrum for publishing; Big Balloon for magazines and activity books; Vadobag for bags and umbrellas; Character for bedding; Jumbo for games and puzzles; and Interstat Social for stationery and gifts.

Big Balloon’s first line of storybooks debuted last week, and all other categories, including toys and additional books from Big Balloon, will hit retail in September.

The retail rollout will be supported by a dedicated Dutch website for Peppa Pig, which will go live this spring, as well as a Peppa Pig app and character meet-and-greets at the Boeken Theater.

“There has been great enthusiasm for Peppa Pig in Benelux and as a result we have a fantastic roster of licensees across a number of key categories,” says Ami Dieckman, licensing manager, international, eOne. “This means that there will be a really strong range of licensed merchandise to create maximum impact when it launches at retail this year.”

“Peppa Pig” airs on Nickelodeon in the Benelux region.
