Entertainment One has tapped Blue Ocean Toys to launch a Peppa Pig toy line in the Benelux region, in a deal brokered by License Connection.
The deal represents the brand’s entrance into the Benelux retail market where the TV series is broadcast on Nickelodeon.
Blue Ocean Toys will manufacture and distribute toys selected from Character Options’ Peppa Pig toy range for release in spring 2013.
“The partnership with Blue Ocean Toys is the crucial first step toward building a strong licensing program for Peppa in the Benelux market as we continue to make international inroads that will take the brand to the next level,” says Ami Dieckman, licensing manager, international, eOne.
