PBS Kids has tapped New Jersey-based Blue Plate Media Services to promote its new video gaming initiative on pbskidsgo.org.

The site, aimed at elementary school children, will soon add video games based on PBS Kids Go! programs, which include "The Electric Company," "Fetch!," "WordGirl," "Arthur" and "Cyberchase."

Blue Plate Media will promote the online gaming venture to boys and girls ages 6 to 8 through TV, radio, outdoor and in-school campaigns.

"It's been delightful working with Blue Plate Media and tapping their expertise with reaching kids and moms," says Sarita Bhargava, director of brand strategy and promotion for PBS Kids. "With the launch of our new in-video games, PBS Kids Go! is not only pioneering the way with new technology but also creating more opportunities for children to engage and learn with their favorite characters."
