Olympics 2012 Unveils Mascot Line

Golden Bear Products was appointed master toy licensee for London 2012 mascots Wenlock and Mandeville in November 2009 by the London Organizing Committee.

The Wenlock and Mandeville line will hit selected stores as early as this spring with mass distribution expected by fall.

The launch includes the brand-new “Team GB” mascot line, which was designed and produced by Golden Bear Products, and includes soft toys, key rings, charm accessories, pens and figurines. The Team GB line will be available this September.

“Being appointed master toy licensee has been a huge boost for Golden Bear and I am proud that as a company we have made the most of the opportunities from the 2012 Games and in particular that we are producing a product that is already becoming recognizable by people across the world,” says John Hales, chairman of Golden Bear Products.
