The new Pokémon Platinum video game for Nintendo DS is ready to roll out on March 22. To culminate the arrival, the Nintendo World store in New York City will hold a launch party for fans on March 21, where they can purchase the game a day before its official release.

At the celebration, shoppers will be able to demo and purchase the game before it hits other retailers. Fans will also be able take part in the Pokémon Platinum Plunge, where consumers can win a copy of the new game and take photos with popular Pokémon characters.
