Nickelodeon Consumer Products International and Minnesota-based Starkey Labs have partnered for branded hearing solutions. Characters SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go and iCarly will be featured on a range of products and materials designed specially for children.
The multi-territory deal runs until December 2013 across key markets including the U.K., Germany, France, Colombia and Brazil and covers earmolds used with hearing aids and other components critical to pediatric hearing solutions.
The characters are also the central component to an education campaign for children with hearing loss and hearing care practitioners. They will be distributed through medical channels–including hospitals, pediatric audiologists, hearing aid specialists and specialist retailers.
