Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, the Americas  (a division of Viacom International Media Networks), has signed a regional agreement with Agosin Group for the commercial and licensing rights to Nickelodeon Latin America’s properties.

The agreement covers more than 17 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean including Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

In addition to having the rights to properties such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Agosin will also have licensing rights to MTV’s classic logo, MTV’s Beavis and Butthead and Comedy Central’s South Park.

“Agosin has been our licensing partner in Chile for several years so we are thrilled to be able to expand our relationship to include these countries,” says Christian Cabero, vice president, Viacom & Nickelodeon Consumer Products, the Americas. “We look forward to working with Agosin and bringing Nickelodeon fans in these territories quality products for them to enjoy.”
