Mattel and Classic Media have signed new consumer product partners for the Masters of the Universe in celebration of the property’s 30th anniversary.
Current partners will be joined by DC Entertainment, which will debut an all-new comic series, “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,” timed to San Diego Comic-Con in July. New Era Cap Co. will introduce a collection of fitted, snapback and knit headwear this summer. Skinit recently launched a line of Masters of the Universe electronic skins for a variety of devices, and several novelty items are slated to roll out in conjunction with the anniversary. Other new partners include PopFun for glassware and magnets and Mixo for collectible paper figures.
