The series launched in the U.S. last October on The Hub, a cable TV network operated by Discovery Communications and Hasbro. Prior to its U.S. launch, “In the Night Garden” aired in 38 countries, including Canada, Australia, Spain, Poland and China.
“In the Night Garden is a well-established international children’s entertainment franchise,” says Tom Keefer, senior vice president of global licensing for BBC Worldwide. “We are confident that our forthcoming licensed product lines with master partners Hasbro and BBC Video will see similar success with the brand in the U.S. market as well.”
