Nickelodeon Consumer Products is taking its U.S. hit TV series "Big Time Rush" overseas in the new year with merchandise, music and more.
Big Time Rush-inspired products will begin hitting the U.K. in April 2011, followed by other territories in the third and fourth quarters. Key merchandise categories will include stationery and bags, apparel, accessories and posters. An album will also release in April.
Prior to the product push, NCP has planned meet-and-greets with the show's stars, autograph sessions at participating retailers, fan competitions and the possibility of a short concert in late winter and spring 2011.
Season 2 of "Big Time Rush" will air in February in Germany and the U.K., followed by new episodes in March, May and October.
