Hyperion Books will publish

Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America,

based on the series “Parks and Recreation.” The 240-page book, which includes illustrations, photographs and character commentaries, will hit bookstores October 4. Pottinger Nichols, the literary licensing agency for NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group, brokered the deal.

Penguin Group will release an original book

Royal Pains: First, Do No Harm

based on USA Network’s series “Royal Pains.” The book will hit stores in June.
