The National Basketball Association, Zodiak Kids' Tele Images and I Can Fly have partnered to launch an exclusive collection of co-branded youth merchandise based on "The Basketeers," a kids television show on French networks M6 and Disney XD.

The product line will feature the animated characters from the show alongside NBA team logos. It will first launch in France and then roll-out worldwide.

The animated series features NBA All-Star Tony Parker as the coach of five teenage boys and girls who are traveling across the U.S. competing to win a street basketball tournament.  The series of 26 half-hour episodes originally premiered in France in October 2011.

"This exciting partnership with the NBA will increase the international recognition of the series, especially in the U.S. market," say Philippe Alessandri and Nicolas Fouillet, executive producers, "The Basketeers."
