National Geographic has launched its new luggage collection, created through a partnership with Travelpro International, the U.S. subsidiary of Montreal-based Holiday Group.

Travelpro is the official luggage and travel accessories licensee for the National Geographic and National Geographic Explorer brands in North America.

The National Geographic Kontiki Collection of luggage is inspired by the rich heritage and real-world experiences of the Society’s explorers and photographers.

Combines a rugged, retro style with today’s modern travel features, each item in the eight-piece collection features a map of the world on its interior, reflecting National Geographic’s tradition of exploration.

Items in the luggage line include rolling luggage, duffels, a messenger bag and a daypack.

“Ideal for camping, skiing and off-road trips, the National Geographic Kontiki duffels are a must-have for adventurous travelers. Packed with features and built to take on any journey, this collection is explorer-ready and eco-friendly,” says Scott Applebee, vice president of marketing, Travelpro. “We are proud to partner with National Geographic and to support their important mission and projects.”
