NASCAR announced that Blake Davidson has been promoted to vice president of licensing and consumer products.

Davidson, who has been with NASCAR for more than 15 years, is responsible for developing and leading the sanctioning body's entire licensing and merchandising strategy. Davidson manages NASCAR's traditional and non-traditional licensing, which includes NASCAR's publishing, retail and business development efforts, as well as its international merchandising efforts.

"Blake's leadership and contributions to NASCAR, our industry and the sports licensing business the last 15-plus years have been quite significant," says Paul Brooks, NASCAR's senior vice president and president of NASCAR Media Group. "I'm proud of Blake and am excited about NASCAR's leadership team improving with his addition."
