Chorion's Mr Men character property is popping up in promotional campaigns in the U.K., U.S. and Australia.

Specsavers, a U.K.-based eyewear retailer, has enlisted Mr Happy for its latest multi-million pound nationwide campaign. The comic campaign debuts with TV advertising in mid-October, as well as print, in-store and online advertising running throughout the rest of the year. The opticians' high-street outlets will feature the colorful characters.

In the U.S., Arby's, a national quick service restaurant, is gearing up for its Mr Men and Little Miss promotion, running this month through January 2011. All 3,500 stores will feature six unique character figurines, including Little Miss Sunshine, Mr Tickle, Little Miss Daredevil, Mr Happy, Mr Strong and Little Miss Helpful. More than 2.5 million premiums and branded meal bags will be distributed.

In Australia and New Zealand, new Mr Men character Mr Mo has been created to support the global men's healthy charity initiative, Movember. Mr Mo sports a giant, bushy moustache and a red top hat and bright blue nose. The Movember Foundation supports the men's health initiative, which aims to raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically for prostate cancer and depression in men. The Mr Mo promotion is exclusive to all 283 Target stores across Australia, which will sell four Mr Mo T-shirts this month. For every T-shirt sold, 25 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Movember's nominated charities.
