The Moulin Rouge, immortalized by the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, is synonymous with Parisian chic and glamour. Now the legendary cabaret has teamed up with the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy-owned Make Up For Ever for a collection that combines the Moulin Rouge's charm and elegance with a touch of cheekiness.

The collaboration came about after Make Up For Ever creator, Dany Sanz, and Moulin Rouge ballet mistress, Janet Pharoah, met and agreed to work together to come up with a range of products that could go from the stage to the street. Make Up For Ever was created in Paris in 1984 by Dany Sanz as a professional brand, but is now a favorite among well-informed clients, professional or not, and is exported to 50 countries.

The fall 2010 collection includes lipstick in blazing red, extremely shiny lip-gloss, false eyelashes bordered with a line of glittery red. All products will go on sale from Aug. 15 throughout the Make Up For Ever distribution network, including Sephora. For the Moulin Rouge brand, this is an opportunity to develop its image outside the entertainment field through a variety of high-quality products for young and trendy customers.
