The White House’s 2012 Easter Egg Roll will feature an array of familiar characters as the even prepares to take place April 9.

The event, which is focused on promoting health and wellness with the theme “Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move!,” is a part of First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign to combat childhood obesity.

Characters that will make an appearance include Suzy’s Zoo’s Witzy Quacker, Moshi Monsters’ Poppet and Katsuma, Wubbzy from the series “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!” and Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America. 

This will be the 134th annual White House Easter Egg Roll with more than 30,000 people expected to visit the South Lawn for games, stories, and the traditional egg roll.
