Moonscoop's new animated comedy/action series "Hero: 108" will air weekdays on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and U.K., beginning this week.

This flash-animated series has been created with an eye toward online gaming and interactivity. A groundbreaking promotional platform, including a massively multi-player online game developed by RedGate Games, a subsidiary of Gamania Digital Entertainment, also launches.

"Hero: 108" follows the outrageous adventures of a group of brave young defenders determined to end a conflict between animals and humans in The Hidden Kingdom. The series features Asian-influenced character designs created by show creator Phoenix Tarng, who is also part of Gamania's in-house creative development team.

Playmates Toys holds the master toy license and has worldwide launch plans for 2010.
