Bandai has signed on a merchandising deal for toy lines for the boy’s action adventure property, Monsuno. Bandai will exclusively distribute and market the toys in Japan.

Additionally, Jakks Pacific, which co-produces the “Monsuno” television series with Dentsu Entertainment under the Pacific Animation Partners banner, will manufacture the toys in Japan.

“The strong reception we have received thus far for Monsuno in international markets underscores our belief that Monsuno is poised to become an outstanding international boy’s action adventure property,” says Stephen Berman, president and chief executive officer for Jakks Pacific. “We are thrilled to have Bandai on board to make Monsuno toys available to audiences in Japan and we look forward to adapting the U.S. line for the Japanese market, evoking all the action, adventure and fun of the Monsuno experience.”
