Mister Maker, star of the interactive arts and crafts show for younger kids airing on CBeebies, will make a number of personal appearances at retailers during half term.

These include Early Learning Centres in Kingston, Surrey and Brent Cross Shopping Centre, as well as the new HobbyCraft store in Basingstoke. The events are supported by Creativity International, which produces a range of Mister Maker craft kits stocked in both ELC and HobbyCraft.

A new season of the show, "Mister Maker Comes to Town," airs at the end of this month and in it Mister Maker takes his artistic talents on the road in his own vehicle, called the Makermobile. The new season will include all of the usual features, as well as some new and creative segments, including "The Big Surprise," where Mister Maker helps a group of children with their makes on a bigger scale and the regular "minute make time" feature will be filmed outdoors in front of a live audience.
