The monthly magazine features 52 pages of Moshi Monsters content, including comic strips, competitions, free gifts, puzzles, top secret Moshi hints and tips, character fact files and a huge amount of user generated content. Each issue will include giveaways and codes that unlock online content.
“It's an unusual step launching a print-based magazine to support an established online community, but we think our online audience is going to love it." says Michael Acton Smith, chief executive officer of Mind Candy. “Much of the content and ideas for the magazine was generated by our players so it should feel very different to other kids magazines. Print definitely isn't dead."
