George at Asda has launched its second designer collaboration of the year with Max Azria, designer and chief executive officer of fashion house BCBG Max Azria Group, and entertainer Miley Cyrus.
The exclusive clothing line for George is a first in the U.K. and will include casual tops, trousers, T-shirts, shoes and accessories starting from £6 ($9). The collection is designed specifically for the young adult market. Earlier this year, Asda announced an exclusive collaboration with Charlie Allen for a George tailoring collection.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be launching our latest designer collaboration with leading fashion designer Max Azria and Miley Cyrus," says Fiona Lambert, George's brand director. "We have thousands of Miley fans amongst our customers and we have had a great number of requests for designer wear at supermarket prices, the collection will give our customers access to high-end fashion without breaking the bank."
Asda is a subsidiary of Walmart.
