Toymaker MGA Entertainment has appointed Lauren Whitehead as vice president of domestic licensing as part of an initiative to expand the company’s licensing programs.

In her role, Whitehead will manage domestic licensing programs and partnerships for MGA brand initiatives on properties such as Bratz and Lalaloopsy. Whitehead will also work to expand licensing activities for all MGA and Little Tikes product categories. (MGA Entertainment owns Little Tikes).

Whitehead has an extensive background in toy licensing, most recently at Jakks Pacific, where she steered the global licensing team on key company brands and nurtured licensor relations with companies like Disney, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., Sony and McDonald’s.
