U.K. toy manufacturer Martin Yaffe International has gone into administration. The company is a licensee to several popular brands, including Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer, HIT Entertainment's Thomas and Friends, Cartoon Network's Ben 10 and many others.

Manchester's Leonard Curtis has been appointed as administrator, according to published reports.

Martin Yaffe, which opened its doors in 1987, distributes its toy lines throughout Europe, including U.K. retailers Tesco, Sainsbury's, John Lewis and Boots.
