The collection from Monet will include rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and keepsakes and will feature the M&M's characters. The jewelry will retail from $15 to $45. The licensee also will roll out a higher-end line in sterling silver, retailing at $35 and up.
The M&M's jewelry will hit Macy's later this month, followed by Monet.com on Oct. 15. It will be available for wholesale purchase on Jan. 1, 2011.
"Monet has a longstanding reputation for the craftsmanship of quality, fashionable jewelry worn by women around the world," says John Capizzi, general manager of licensing for Mars Retail Group. "This partnership brings together two iconic brands to give consumers a line of collectible jewelry items that are both fashionable and fun to wear."
