Marathon Media, a division of Zodiak Kids, signed several new partners in Australia and New Zealand for its boy’s property Redakai. New partners include Stella Projects, Moose Toys, Network Ten and Magna Home Video.

Stella Projects will serve as licensing agent in both Australia and New Zealand.

Moose Toys will launch the Spinmaster Redakai trading card game to specialty retailers starting in February. The full toy line, developed and owned by Spin Master, will be presented to the toy industry at the Melbourne Toy Fair in March.

Network Ten will air “Redakai” on its Toasted block early this year. The TV launch will be followed by a DVD release in mid 2012 by Magna Home Video.

"We are very excited to be representing Redakai in Australia and New Zealand," says Grahame Grassby, managing director of Stella Projects. "Australian boys go crazy for science fiction shows and combined with their passion to play games and trade cards, Redakai has all the makings of being a smash hit in our territory."

"We are truly excited to have Network 10 on board as our broadcast partner in Australia and a stellar group of partners to support the launch of Redakai in this territory," says Karen Vermeulen, vice president sales and co-production, Zodiak Kids.
