Dentsu Entertainment’s first Mameshiba product debuted in the U.S. retail market. The four-inch clip plush from Toynami retails for $8.99, and the initial collection includes four Mameshiba characters. The new plush clip is available at www.HotTopic.com, and will be available at Hastings Entertainment stores and Trans World Entertainment stores.

Dentsu Entertainment also announced a licensing agreement with Bioworld Merchandising for Mameshiba apparel and accessories, including t-shirts, fleece, shorts, headwear, bags, leather goods and hosiery.  Bioworld products will launch in the U.S. and Canada this spring.

Publisher VIZ Media was signed to produce the first wave of Mameshiba books, which include “Mameshiba: On The Loose!,” a graphic novel, and “Meet Mameshiba!,” a character guide.

Dentsu Entertainment is actively seeking licensees for stationery and jewelry in the U.S.
