The fashion world is converging on Las Vegas, Nev., for the semi-annual MAGIC convention and licensing will have its moment in the spotlight at the Brand Expansion Through Licensing–Secrets of Success panel discussion.
Taking place Tuesday, the panel will be hosted by Ilse Metchek, president of the California Fashion Association. Panelists include Chris DeMoulin, president of licensing and executive vice president of customer development, Advanstar; Todd Kaufman, director of brand management, Beanstalk; Uri Minkoff, chief executive officer, Rebecca Minkoff; and Staci Riordan, partner, Fox Rothschild.
The panel will discuss how brands can use an effective licensing program to take their fashion business further by expanding into new markets and reaching new marketing segments. Panelist will provide perspective and insight on how companies of all sizes can leverage licensing to diversify their product portfolio and increase sales as well as discuss the benefits, strategies, requirements, hurdles and legal implications of the licensing sphere.
The Brand Expansion Through Licensing–Secrets of Success panel discussion will take place Tuesday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Room S230 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
