The Magic Marketplace in Las Vegas was the site of a slew of new apparel deals and announcements.

Paramount Licensing

announced multiple apparel deals including:

ABG Accessories:

Headwear, gloves, rainwear, cold weather accessories and umbrellas for all ages, based on the films

Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Footloose, Grease

, and

Pretty in Pink

. Distribution will be to all tiers, and will hit shelves early February 2008.

American Classics:

Men's T-shirts, sweatshirts, and full-button shirts based on the iconic film

The Godfather

. Distribution has just begun to specialty, department stores, and the Internet.

Changes:

A hip line of urban streetwear also based on

The Godfather

. The line includes urban T-shirts and sportswear for men, and will be distributed via a wide range of urban retailers this fall.

Orange Clothing Company:

T-shirts and hats for juniors and young men based on the comedic film

Hot Rod

Ripple Junction:

Men's and juniors' apparel for the upcoming Paramount Pictures film

Beowulf

, including T-shirts, long sleeves, thermals, tank tops, trace jackets, fleece hoodies, and wrist

Consumer Products (NVCP) announced plans to expand its apparel and accessory lines created for Nickelodeon's hit series

The Naked Brothers

Band. A featured item will be an exclusive limited-edition T available this fall from popular clothing retailer Lucky Brand Jeans. Additionally, NVCP announced product lines from top licensees including Briefly Stated (sleepwear/loungewear); High Intensity (costume jewelry, hair accessories, cell phone charms, bag clips); Dream Apparel (sleepwear/loungewear); and Accessory Network (notebooks, journals, backpacks and stickers). The first wave of apparel will hit specialty retailers beginning this fall and expand to all tiers in 2008.

announced several deals including:

Giant Merchandising

will design and manufacture junior and missy T-shirts, fashion tops, and retro-inspired fleece for distribution to the mass, mid-tier, and specialty store retailers. On the men's front, Giant will feature over 30 skus inspired by the I

films, as well as merchandise featuring Spider-Man. For boys aged 4 to 20, Giant will feature 50 skus inspired by Spider-Man and the

Mighty Fine

will debut its holiday 2007 and spring 2008 T-shirt lines, targeting juniors and tweens, which will feature key characters including Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, and more.

Mad Engine

will feature over 200 new skus—representing each channel of distribution for Marvel-including merchandise based on the upcoming Marvel Studios feature films

Iron Man

, as well as products inspired by Spider-Man Classic, Venom, Sandman, Carnage, Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four, Marvel Comics, and Spider-Man & Friends, Marvel's preschool line.

H.E.R. Accessories

will unveil a brand new line of jewelry, lanyards, belts, bandanas, wristbands, shoe laces, cell phone charms, hair accessories, brushes, mirrors, and zipper pulls. The product assortment will feature Spider-Man.

Mighty Fine

launched National Anthem, a new men's line, and a clothing collection with United Media based on the 1950s art of Peanuts creator Charles Schulz. Called Good Ol' Charlie Brown, the modern style collection features 27 pieces including a kimono dress and drape-sleeve V-neck.

WJ Holding

launched a streetwear collection with its premium apparel brand, Under The Hood. The collection features The Kellogg Company and its popular brands like Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies, Froot Loops, Honey Smacks, and Apple Jacks. Inspired by the trendy blend of skate lifestyle and urban fashion, the assortment includes hoodies, track jackets, T-shirt silhouettes, and jeans in 13.5-ounce denim with back-pocket treatments.

Re:Volve for Coca-Cola

debuted an eco-friendly line of Ts and totes that highlights the beverage company's recycling efforts.

Pepsi-Cola Apparel Division

launched a junior fashion line based on the beverage company's archives of artwork and slogans. New York-based Assis Group has the exclusive and will market an upscale line of Ts, jeans, and hoodies using Pepsi's historic artwork.

Nick Graham

, who created the Joe Boxer brand in 1985, introduced a new collection of underwear and sleepwear under the Hurley brand, licensed to his new company Wonderbrand LLC. Executives at the company said the line would be expanded in 2008 to over 400 specialty stores including Macy's and Nordstrom. Hurley, acquired by Nike in 2002, produces youth apparel for surf, skate, art, and music.
