Cabon Licensing has signed on to represent Lunartics in Brazil. Creative Brands Group represents the brand in North America, and discussions are ongoing for representation in Europe, Asia and Australasia.

Sebastiao Bonfa, Cabon Licensing's president, has been in the licensing business for more than 30 years, heading up Hanna Barbera in Brazil and Latin America and as the licensing director at Mauricio de Sousa Produ›es. Cabon represents international and Brazilian properties, such as Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Karen Katz, Rpeng & Bini, The Princess Bride and Freej.

The Lunartics property is made up of 147 unique characters living in a fantasy-like moon world. The collectibles are targeted to boys ages 7 to 12.

"People are now recognizing that the Lunartics brand is without doubt one of global appeal and potential," says Simon Harris, co-creator of Lunartics. "The next 12 months will see a number of deals finalized and the basis truly laid for a long-term and successful licensing program."
