London-based designer Soula Zavacopoulos, creator of The London Studio design property, got an unexpected boost in demand after the BBC’s “Dragons’ Den” star Theo Paphitis tweeted about her business.

Zavacopoulos tweeted Paphitis about her brand during Small Business Sunday, a weekly event set up by Paphitis where he reviews and selects businesses to promote through Twitter.

“As I design products that are sold directly to retail, I knew that getting noticed by Theo would give me a huge business boost in the retail industry,” Zavacopoulos says.

Paphitis selected Zavacopoulos’ business and tweeted about The London Studio to his 235,000 followers, leading to record high web traffic and increased demand from retailers.
