In addition, LOCOG appointed Nikon U.K. sole supplier of sport optics for use by officials at a number of Olympic and Paralympic sports including sailing, archery, shooting and athletics. Nikon U.K. is part of Nikon Corporation, which has been manufacturing binoculars since 1917.
