The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association recently announced elections to the executive committee and board of directors.

Three board members were elected to new positions on the executive committee. They are:

  • Christina Miller, senior vice president, Cartoon Network Enterprises, from vice chairperson to chairperson.

  • Maura Regan, vice president and general manager of global consumer products, Sesame Workshop, becomes vice chairperson.

  • Stu Seltzer, partner, Marketing on Demand, becomes executive committee liaison to the board of directors.

Meanwhile, those joining the LIMA board include:

  • Peter Boder, founder and chief executive officer, United Labels (Germany). Boder heads the leading European licensee for apparel, gift and plush toys. United Labels is a LIMA Germany member.

  • Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBS Consumer Products (U.S.). Kalodner manages current and classic television properties from CBS Films and the Star Trek franchise.

  • Bettina Koeckler, senior vice president of licensing, EMEA, Chorion (U.K.). Koeckler manages Chorion licensing in Europe and Asia and has served on the LIMA Germany advisory board for the past three years.

  • Charles Schnaid, senior partner of head royalty compliance group, Miller, Kaplan, Arase & Co. (U.S.). Schnaid specializes in royalty compliance for a diverse clientele in the toy, entertainment, apparel, art, manufacturing, medical and food industries and regularly conducts Licensing University seminars and LIMA webinars.

  • Kotaro Sunamori, president, Sun R&P Co. (Japan). Sunamori specializes in movie property merchandising and has been a member of the LIMA Japan Advisory Committee for the past two years.

Those returning to the board include Adam Beder, senior vice president of global licensing and business affairs, Spin Master; Rick Mallow, principal, Making Connections; Holly Stein, vice president of licensing acquisitions, Mattel; Robert Strand, founder, Strand IP; Careen Yapp, vice president of acquisitions and franchise development, Konami Digital Entertainment; Rick Van Brimmer, director of trademark and licensing of services, The Ohio State University; Sabine Eckhardt, managing director, SevenOne AdFactory; and Glenn Hendricks, vice president of business development and licensing and merchandising, SloaneVision Unlimited.
