A two-year deal to promote healthy lifestyles for kids has been signed between LazyTown and U.K. holiday resorts Butlins, beginning in February 2011.

Butlins and LazyTown have created a multi-level platform for children, which will include a live show, sports and crafts academy and healthy menu choices in the resorts' restaurants. In addition, episodes of "LazyTown" and health-related segments will be broadcast on Butlins' TV network. LazyTown will also be featured on the resort's website, family brochure and magazines.

"We are incredibly excited to be working with such an iconic British brand to bring our healthy lifestyle message to millions of families," says Dan Frugtniet, director of licensing, EMEA, for LazyTown. "Butlins are committed to kids' entertainment and now kids' health. Reaching so many people, they see our partnership as a way to really challenge and make a positive difference to the usual kids' holiday experience."
