London-based streetwear label Lazy Oaf has signed with Warner Bros. Consumer Products for a Batman capsule collection.

Lazy Oaf has taken the global rights to the archive of Batman artwork and applied it to a fashion-forward line of clothing and accessories for men and women. The collection launched in stores and online in the U.K., Japan, Korea and U.S. Friday, one week before the theatrical release of The Dark Knight Rises July 20.

"We’re very excited about working with Warner Bros. Consumer Products,” says Gemma Shiel, founder and designer, Lazy Oaf. “We’ve had a great time trawling through archives and putting together some bold prints using the iconic DC Comics Batman artwork. The collection is directional and fun–it channels the inner nerdy kid in all of us and gives us something a little more grown-up to wear."

The women’s collection features a repeat Batman logo print on a body suit, leggings, dress and shirt. The range also features a bat crop top, Lazy Oaf’s classic oversized women’s t-shirt and a bat wing shirt-dress inspired by Batgirl herself.

The men’s collection sees DC Comic characters and bold bat prints covering short-sleeve Hawaiian shirts as well as icon-printed t-shirts and sweatshirts. Also included in the range is a Batman logo “Old Skool” rucksack.
