Kraft Foods and SodaStream International have expanded their partnership to include Kool-Aid in the roster of flavors available for the SodaStream, an appliance that makes carbonated beverages at home.

Three Kool-Aid flavors–cherry, grape and tropical punch–will join Kraft Foods’ Crystal Light and Country Time brands, already available for the SodaStream system.

"The Kool-Aid brand will be a great addition to the current lineup we've developed with SodaStream," says Doug Weekes, vice president, beverages, Kraft Foods. "We're pleased with the early success of Crystal Light and Country Time and believe that adding Kool-Aid will attract even more people to enjoy our flavors with personally made carbonation."

The line of Kool-Aid for SodaStream flavors is expected to hit retail later this year.

"I grew up drinking Kool-Aid and am excited to welcome such a popular drink to the SodaStream family," says Daniel Birnbaum, chief executive officer, SodaStream. "It truly delights me to have the opportunity to expand our partnership with Kraft Foods by delivering a sparkling version of this iconic brand to millions of Americans."
