Educational software group Knowledge Adventure has launched a licensing program based on its JumpStart brand with agent 360ep. Three merchandise partners have been signed.

The latest licensees include:

  • Fine Line for school supplies, including writing and drawing instruments, activity sets, flash cards, paper pads, stickers, portfolios, notebooks, stationery sets, lunch kits and school bags. The range is hitting retailers now.
    • GameDevCo for board games and puzzles targeted to preschoolers through grade 2. The activities are available now.
      • Silver Dragon Books for a graphic novel in summer 2011.

"Licensing is a natural extension for Jumpstart," says David Lord, president and chief executive officer of Knowledge Adventure. "Kids love Jumpstart. Frankie and his friends have been a part of education for almost two decades. These partnerships let kids have their favorite characters as part of their regular activities."
