Knievel Partners with Collegiate Licensing

Knievel Motorcycle Manufacturing, the manufacturing subsidiary of Knievel Custom Cycles, signed a deal with The Collegiate Licensing Company, a division of IMG College, for motorcycles themed after U.S. colleges and universities. This deal marks the first

This deal marks the first time that the motorcycle company has produced licensed bikes, as well as the first motorcycle deal for CLC.

The initial line will include Auburn University, University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Georgia, The University of Kansas, Louisiana State University, University of Miami, South Carolina University, University of Tennessee and University of Wisconsin. Each motorcycle will include a college or university logos, mascot or memorabilia and a certificate of authenticity with a collegiate hologram.

"Since launching Knievel Motorcycle Manufacturing, our mission has been to make custom motorcycles that are truly worthy of the Knievel name," said Greg Zappala, chairman and president of Knievel Cycles. "Our goal is to create the best custom motorcycle for demanding riders who have serious expectations of their bikes and their alma maters."
